Recommended treatments
The Little Tooth program
Following our LITTLE TOOTH program, we guide parents to come for periodic check-ups, after which the doctors at the clinic will provide them with useful information related to brushing techniques and auxiliary care of their little ones' teeth.
We guide parents to schedule a visit to the pediatric dentist as soon as possible from the first appearance of a stain/cavity, to treat it, but also to prevent other conditions.
Our recommendations are that the first visits of the little ones be made as early as possible, from an early age, so that familiarization is made as easy as possible.
Dental Fluoride application
Dental fluoride application is a quick, painless procedure that involves applying a gel to the surface of the teeth, using a special brush. The goal is to strengthen the tooth enamel, preventing the appearance of cavities and slowing the progression of incipient ones.
Palatal expander
The palatal expander is an orthodontic device used in children to correct a jaw that is too narrow.
By gradually widening the dental arch, it creates sufficient space for a correct tooth eruption and a balanced bite.
By applying a light and controlled force with the palatal expander, the dental arches are gradually widened, reaching a dental and bone balance.
Applied at an early age, the treatment is more effective, easy to tolerate and prepares the bone support for permanent teeth.
Dental sealing in children
Simple protection against cavities
Dental sealing is one of the simplest and most effective ways to protect children from cavities. The procedure is quick, painless and recommended especially for children who have recently erupted permanent teeth.
What is dental sealing?
Sealing involves applying a thin layer of protective material to the surface of the teeth. This material covers the deep grooves of the teeth, places where food debris and bacteria accumulate and where the toothbrush has difficulty reaching.
Thus, the teeth become easier to clean and much better protected against cavities.
When is sealing recommended?
Dental sealing is usually done at two important times:
- At 6–7 years old, when the first final molars appear.
- At 11–13 years old, with the appearance of the second set of final molars.
It is important to seal a healthy tooth before it develops cavities.
What are the benefits of dental sealing?
- Reduces the risk of cavities by up to 80%.
- Helps maintain long-term oral health.
- Teaches children that going to the dentist can be an easy and enjoyable experience.
- Can last between 2 and 5 years, depending on the child's hygiene and regular check-ups.
Why is it important for your child?
Cavities in children can progress quickly and may require more complex treatments. Sealing is a modern, safe and effective method by which we can prevent these problems and give children a healthy start in their dental development.
